Mission Statement
It is the mission of George Wythe High School to provide all students with the opportunity to pursue an education which will enable them to succeed in a changing world.

All school personnel, students, families, and community:

3. promote tolerance for individual differences to foster self-esteem, respect, and integrity necessary for a safe, positive learning environment.

• Student performance will improve, including pass rate on all SOL tests, classroom performance, and graduation rate.
• Student absenteeism and disciplinary incidents will diminish.
